A Lawyer of the Egyptian Commission for Rights and Freedoms said that the session of renewal of detention of several defendants in case 930 of 2019 was postponed because some of the defendants could not be transferred from prison.

The defendants in the media-known case of the Alliance of Hope face charges of participating with a terrorist group, knowing its aims and misuse of social media to spread rumors and spread false news.

The case includes several politicians, journalists, and labor activists, including Ziyad Al-Alimi, Hisham Fouad, Husam Moanes, Hassan Barbari, Alaa Essam and Ahmed Tammam.
